What is the average weight loss on the Healthy Solutions program?

By following the Healthy Solutions program with coaching, the average percent of initial body weight lost is around 10%-13%. Research shows losing 5%-10% of initial body weight can help improve health and risk factors. 

How does the Healthy Solutions program work?

The Healthy Solutions program is nutrition-based. It is a high volume plan, that is focused on keeping calories reduced while increasing nutritionally sound foods to help you stay full. 
Phase 1 is the weight loss phase, focused on stucture to help with weight loss along with changing habits. Phase 2 is a healthy eating plan focused on lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, veggies and healthy fats. 

What is the purpose of coaching?

Health coaching helps keeps clients engaged, provides accountability, and helps provide the necessary information to sustain long term behavioral and lifestyle changes. 
I work with clients from weight loss to weight maintaince. During the weight loss phase we are often setting goals, overcoming barriers/obstacles, and learning the initial information to maintain. During maintaince, that is where the "real world" learning comes in! We partner together to navigate life changes, holidays, stressors, all the typical stuff that we encounter in life! 

What is the purpose of meal replacements?

There is great documented research that shows the use of meal replacements can benefit a healthy lifestyle long-term. During the weight loss phase, the meal replacements are utilized to create structure & make sure a client is getting what they need to lose weight in a nutritionally safe way. 

What do you mean by holistic weight loss?

Weight loss is not just about the food we eat and the number on the scale. Our overall lifestyle can impact whether we see weight loss. Stress, self-care, sleep, and activity are some of the other common factors that matter just as much as the food. So holistic means that together, we take a whole person approach. Don't worry, you don't have to change everything overnight, we'll set goals together!

What about long-term sustainability?

Meal replacements can be benefical long-term for simplicity in our busy lives. However, the ultimate goal of the program with coaching is to provide a client the tools to sustain their weight loss long-term. Focusing on behavior & habit change, along with nutrition education that is tailored to each individual, a client coaching through the program is provided with the necessary guidance to sustain a healthy lifestyle.
